LLS-sensor

Fuel level sensor LLS is intended for determining the level of light oils and other liquids in metal and non-metal vessels. Fuel level information is transmitted to on-board equipment of monitoring systems periodically or upon request.

The main features of the fuel level sensor LLS:

  • working length from 100mm to 3000mm
  • adjustable length in field conditions
  • long-term stability of measurements
  • built-in galvanic decoupler
  • interfaces RS-232/485, analog (optional)
  • data transmission rates from 1200 to 115200 bps
  • powered from on-board power system
  • voltage from 7 to 50V

The latest model of the sensor (20160) has a polyacetal casing, durable and resistant to organic solvents and loads in a wide range of temperatures. Measuring component (tube) is made of aluminum alloy. Protection against mechanical and atmospheric impact is provided by a sealed lead-in and a metal hose. Sealed connector significantly simplifies connection and adjustment of the sensor. Resolution has been increased from 1024 to 4095 points. Also, it is now possible to offset the resolution for up to 4095 points. Therefore, fuel level can be determined in length measurement units (millimeters, inches, etc.) and exactly correspond to the actual volume in the tank. Fuel level is determined by the sensor in a linear way. It is possible to operate the fuel level sensor LLS in current-conducting liquids.

To form an analog signal and calculate the total volume of liquid in several tanks, the multiplexer of fuel level sensors Dalcon is used. Dalcon can also be used to control external status indicators (regular fuel level indicator, indicator “reserve”, etc.).
