Fuelmetrix®
Fuelmetrix® is a set of tools for integration of fuel consumption control function into the monitoring systems for vehicles and immovable objects. LLS sensor provides data on the fuel level and FPS-server processes them. It is possible to process data from an LLS sensor in the monitoring system (AVL-system) without FPS, as well as to integrate the server to process fuel level data from any sensors. Data processing in FPS is based on the use of Smoothing algorithm for the fuel data and detection of fuel filling and discharge operations. The algorithm, as well as the set of tools for integration of fuel consumption function, is called Fuelmetrix®.
LLS is a high-frequency fuel level sensor which is installed into the fuel tank and connected to an AVL-module. LLS determines the fuel level in the fuel tank and transmits the information to the AVL-module. Fuel data are processed in the AVL system independently or with the use of an FPS-module.
FPS is a data processing server processing data from fuel level sensors. FPS is integrated into communication or process server of the operator or provider of vehicle monitoring services. The server filters fuel data, makes searches for fuel filling and discharge operations. FPS processes data from any fuel level sensors using the single algorithm - Fuelmetrix®.
Processed fuel level data allow generation of various reliable reports such as reports on the current amount of fuel in the fuel tanks of a movable or immovable object, mileage of the vehicle, fuel consumption per kilometer or per motor-hour. Exact data about the time and volumes of filling/discharge operations help analyze fuel metering information and locate the events on the map.
